This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you submit the project form, we collect:
- What you type: your name, phone number, email address, your ZIP code, and your project type, budget range, and timeline.
- A record of your consent: the exact wording of the consent notice shown to you, the date and time you submitted, your IP address, and your browser's user agent string. We keep this so there is a record of what you agreed to and when.
- How you found us: campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid, ttclid), the page address, and the referring website.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank details, or payment information through this form.
Why we collect it
- To confirm your project details and match you with contractors.
- To keep a record that you consented to be contacted.
- To understand which advertising brought you here, so we do not waste money on advertising that does not work.
How we contact you
By submitting the form you agree we may contact you at the phone number and email address you provided, including by automated telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and SMS text message. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.
To stop contact: reply STOP to any text message, or email us and ask to be removed. We record opt-out requests and honour them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Contractors we match you with. This is the point of the service: your name, contact details, ZIP code, and project details are passed to renovation contractors so they can quote. Once a contractor has your details, their own privacy practices apply to how they use them.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
- Advertising platforms, which receive a signal that a form was submitted — but not your name, phone number, or email address.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose it to.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Submissions are stored in a database on our hosting provider's servers, reachable only through a password-protected administration area. The site is served over HTTPS.
We keep consent records for at least four years, because that is the period during which a claim about contacting you could be brought. Other details are kept while they remain useful and are deleted on request.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, except where we must keep a consent record.
- Opt out of contact at any time.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Contact us and we will honour them.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
